Introduction

As a guitarist and a musician, I enjoy playing songs i like while singing along, but the autoscroll never syncs up with the song. I stop playing to fiddle with my phone.

Problem

When attempting to sing and play guitar simultaneously, guitar chord websites and apps cause the user to stop playing and scroll through the chords and lyrics.

Sub Problem

Due to autoscroll being out of sync with the songs bpm, the user must pause their playing.

SIDE NOTE, most leading guitar learning apps do not provide access to songs in hebrew.

My solution

By creating an app with autoscroll which can be synced and adjusted, users can sing and play a song they aren't very familiar with, without pausing. Access to a rich quarry of songs, along with recorded and live lessons, provide an effective learning process.

Building an app with a metronome the user can access and hear while chords and lyrics autoscroll is activated, whilst scrolling with the beat. The technology exists. Daily practice can dramatically improve guitar playing skills. There will be in app instructional videos, as well as a platform for purchasing live online lessons. Most importantly, is an open search of a vast archive of chords, tabs, and lyrics. The community can help expand this song archive. One can compare the app to a self help app, which provides daily exercises, pre recorded guided meditations+ virtual meetings with professionals.
